Several years ago we built a backyard deck for these Des Moines homeowners, so when they decided they wanted an extension to their front porch, we were the first people they called! Since they loved how the style of the first project turned out, they wanted to match that design for this one as well! After completing the project they have already called for their next project!

How was the Deck Addition Constructed?
Footing and Framing:
- Installed and properly flashed deck ledger board
- Installed new techno post frost footings (25-year warranty)
- Framed deck using treated lumber 2×10’s for joist and ledger board, 2×12’s for stingers and beams, and 6×6 post
- Installed treated framing for blocking for border
- Installed joist flashing tape
Installed Decking and Railing (to manufacturer’s specifications):
- Installed new Timbertech Pro decking in Tigerwood color using ConcealLoc fasteners and TOPLoc Powder Coated Steel color matched screws for decking and fascia as necessary
- Utilized screw plugs to hid screws where applicable
- Installed Westbury C10 powder coated aluminum railing in black
Final Inspection:
- Cleaned off deck and magnetized of yard
- Left Timbertech cleaner for homeowners
- Cleaned job-site upon completion of work
- Walk around with customer to ensure job is completed to their satisfaction
