Since the beginning, we have had a Lifetime Workmanship Warranty. Our belief is that no matter when it’s uncovered that we made an installation error it should be fixed for free including any ancillary work that may be needed. This is unlike many of our competitors’ 1-to-7-year warranties. This is important because an installation issue might not arise right away, and you could have more unexpected costs with other companies.

Depending on the significance of the damage there be no extra charges or charges which are agreed upon with you to cover labor and material cost.

Why do you use Pella doors most of the time?

Pella entry doors are 100% engineered, designed, and built in-house.  Most competitor door manufacturers sell components and door panels to regional assembly vendors. In-house construction allows Pella to test and certify performance without relying on a third party.  Allows for better quality control and tighter tolerances. The other main reason is Pella has local employees to service their products which streamlines service issues quicker than almost all other door options.

I heard Pella doors are expensive. Do you have another less expensive option?

Actually, because of our relationship with Pella, we buy their products cheaper than many other doors. Our recent award of 2022 Pella Platinum Elite Partner of the Year has cemented that relationship. Pella fiberglass and steel doors boast zero exposed wood of any kind.  Pella doors have 100% composite and fiberglass exposed materials, while most entry door competitors use treated wood in the panel edge and frame.

Can you replace the door when it is cold?

Obviously, there are limits to what we expect installers to do when it gets cold, but yes, we install year around. It’s important to note your home isn’t exposed to the cold for a long period of time.

What is the NFRC, and does it matter?

NFRC stands for the National Fenestration Rating Council. It is a non-profit organization that helps to establish energy performance ratings. The purpose of these is to help customers of window companies compare the products and make the best decision for the overall energy efficiency of their homes. They give ratings to products such as doors, skylights, and windows.

Do replacement doors really pay for themselves?

If you’re asking if new doors pay for the entire cost of the project, it will take a very long time. There aren’t many home improvements that immediately lower ongoing costs like heating bills. So yes, new doors will help pay for themselves just over a long period of time.

Can you cut in a door where there is no door now?

Or alter a window opening for a door? Yes, many homeowners add doors to their new decks or would prefer increased lighting in certain parts of their homes. We will walk you through the planning and overall execution of your project.
